Are you ready to awaken ancient energies that live within you?
The Southern Cross Biodanza School of Australia is delighted to invite you to the Circle of Archetypes – an immersive Biodanza experience where myth meets movement, and the wisdom of the unconscious comes alive through the body.
Rooted in the profound work of Carl Jung and Rolando Toro, this transformational path blends the symbolic world of archetypes with the expressive depth of Biodanza.
Archetypes are the universal forces that shape human experience—warrior, lover, child, sage—living in dreams, myths, and the very fabric of our relationships.
In this circle, you’ll meet these energies not as abstract ideas, but as living forces to embody, express, and integrate.
The movement, music, dance and encounters invite you to
✨Dance with the timeless symbols of mystery that stir the soul
✨Discover new layers of identity, purpose, and inner truth
✨Awaken innate power for transformation
This is not just a workshop—it is a sacred space where you embody the myth, and becomes a bridge between the unconscious and conscious worlds.
The workshop will be held at the dedicated dance studios of the Belconnen Arts Centre. The centre supports the arts across a range of practice, including dance, music, visual arts, theatre.

Jung described archetypes as fundamental, inherited patterns of thought and behavior embedded in the collective unconscious—universal symbols present in myths, dreams, and cultures across time. These archetypes are not just abstract ideas; they manifest in our bodies, emotions, and relationships.
The collective unconscious is the shared inheritance we have with humans and other life forms. It influences culture, groups, families and organisations. It is a storehouse of ancient wisdom and learning that we can all access and it is especially powerful to access them in dance and movement.
Rolando Toro, in the development of Biodanza, recognized that human expression is profoundly shaped by these deep structures. Through movement, music, and relational experiences, we can embody archetypes, integrating their energies in a profound and transformative way.
